The Beach Game

Lucius's POV

My eyes narrowed down at him.

"You have lost your mind!" I hissed as I pushed past my irritated brother and moved to open the curtain he had meticulously closed.

I heard his footsteps coming toward me and I gritted my teeth in anticipation.

He wasn't going to stop.

"But you want her. You can't deny it. I have seen it in your eyes!" Lucas' annoying voice filled the space around me.

I rolled my eyes and moved to sit on the couch.

"Can you pour me a drink?" I asked, hoping to divert his mind to something else.

He stopped hovering behind me and moved to the fridge to get a bottle of wine.

"It's not a crime to say it out loud you know... I am sure she is in love with you too," he beamed as he dropped the drink on the table.

"Humans don't fall in love just like that," I hissed. It takes time and effort from both parties."

He rolled the wine glass in his hand and flashed me a small smile.

"Since when did you know so much about humans, Lucius?"

I narrowed my eyes on him again. H
