Chapter 42

There was a beeping noise that was steady and constant in the room and She was pretty sure there was something in her arm. Better not be a goddamn needle, She hates those things. Her body felt light and her head a bit fuzzy, but the only thing that hurt was the top of her stomach, it was a soft pain compared to earlier. 

You know that feeling when someone socks you and even after the hit it stings and throbs, yup, that's what it felt like. She took in a deep breath through her nose, chemicals were all over the place, but so was Zander's scent. 

Knowing he was in the room put her at ease, wherever she was she was fine. The room was cold and she felt like she was on a small bed, not the bed Zander or She slept in. Just the thinking of him made her recall something but just as fast as it came it was gone. . .
