Third POV

Harper felt someone put her down and she was surrounded by the softness of the bed. Her body was heavy. She tried to open her eyes or move her limbs, but she couldn't.

For a moment, she wondered if she was dead. She struggled with a faint consciousness for a while, then fell back into the darkness.

After an unknown amount of time, she felt something being removed from her body.

"Harper...Harper...wake up."

She realized that someone was calling her. She couldn't make out who the voice belonged to.

Immediately, a sharp pain entered her body from the top of her head. She wanted to scream like hell and finally found herself opening her eyes.

Where is this?

As far as the eye could see, the walls of this room were decorated with intricately patterned tapestries. The stained glass windows cast colorful lights onto the floor, and the dark green, thick velvet curtains beside the windows.

Everything suggested that this room did not belong to an ordinary master.

Harper tried to get up,
