Chapter 15: Secrets
~Alric~
“Mister Valmore, you do not know how this investment will give many of our citizens jobs. Thank you for seeing the potential here in Bay City.” The governor turned to the reporters with a smile. He was proud of the deal he closed with the great CEO of The Valmore Group Of Companies.
Alric, in his towering frame, looked down at the governor and extended his hand to him. He replied, “The pleasure is mine.” He also gazed at the cameras and, with his imposing expression, he spoke, “We look forward to identifying more business opportunities in Bay City in the future.”
After signing the contract at the city governor’s office, Alric and his party rushed to return to the Emerald Bay Hotel. Preparations were underway for him to return, and the pack, back at the Port of Valmore, was missing their Alpha.
