Rachel’s POV

He turned his face away and cleaned his eyes. He looked so pitiful.

I didn’t even know what to say at first.

David, it’s fine; I am fine now; why are you this way?” I answered. He looked so different and shattered; what must have happened to him?

He looked at me, placed my hand on my cheek, rubbed it gently, and smiled a little. His eyes were red.

“So have you forgiven me for the pain I caused you?” He asked, and his palm still caressed my face softly.

Why is he always talking about the pain he has caused me? That was far, far gone, even if I still feel the pain a little.

“Yes, I have forgiven you; you shouldn’t have turned yourself this way.” I replied. I just had to tell him that, maybe to lighten up his mood.

“Thank you; you don’t know how happy I am now.” He dragged me into a hug, and he hugged me tightly. My head was on his chest, and he rubbed my hair. “Thank you so much, Rachel.” He said it and kissed my hair before he pulled out the hug.
