Chapter 88

Rachel’s POV

I waited for David the whole night, but I didn’t see him until I fell asleep. Maybe he was so busy due to Scott’s event coming up, and tomorrow he will be so busy. I would have to wait until any day he isn’t tied up with work, and I couldn’t summon the courage to call if he is so busy that he can’t take calls now.

The next day, it was already evening. Throughout the whole day, I haven't set my eyes on David. He has been so busy with work, and I am sure he would be so stressed out.

I was getting ready for the event, and I am sure I will at least see David there, even if I don’t get the chance to tell him how I feel for him.

I wore a red long dress with a split at the back; it looked so lovely on me. I curled my hair into thick curls and packed it up, leaving some strands at the front of my hair and at the back as well.
