Rachel’s POV

“You….” David wanted to speak, and immediately we heard a resounding knock on the door.

“Who is there? David shouted and frowned as there was an interruption.

I was quite upset too; I wanted this guy so bad, and now he might just leave very soon.

Alpha, there is a problem, and the elders in council need you urgently. Someone shouted outside the door, It should be one of the guards.

“Alright, I'll be there. David walked close to the door and answered, but before he would turn, I stood up from the counter. And arranged myself properly.

“Are you leaving already? He asked as he walked up to me quickly.

Yes, I am; you should get back to work; maybe we will talk later. I answered and was about to work out when he gripped my hand and brought me back to himself. My hand touched his irresistible chest.

And I turned to look at him. I felt so different. I was so sad to leave. I am sure this isn’t my wolf in control. Whenever he holds my hand, I don’t ever want him to leave it. When
