CHAPTER THIRTY - FIVE

Michael’s POV

I walked straight into the house, and in the process, I bumped into someone.

"Oh, sorry about that.” I patted her back. I didn’t care to stare into her face. To know who I had almost knocked over in my quiet rage. All I wanted was to leave and go somewhere else.

“Your highness?” I turned back to find it was the maid from earlier.

“I’m sorry,” I said, giving her a small smile.

“It’s alright, your highness.” She smiled, revealing some white teeth. She leaned in and batted her eyelids.

“Have you seen her?” She asked.

“Her? Who?” I asked. What was she talking about?

"Have you seen her, I mean Miss Nora?” she asked

"Oh, oh yes, I just did. Thank you,” I said, and I immediately walked away. I knew she had something else to say, but I wasn't ready to hear it.

The rest of the night had me tossing and turning. Sleep had suddenly become an alien word to me. I had gone to the gym immediately. You know to release. These emotions were swarming in my head, and I didn’t know what to do
