CHAPTER TWENTY -FOUR

Michael’s POV

“Who the hell allowed that dog into my pack?” I growled. They were all gathered in the strategy room. It was a pity that I couldn’t say hi to Nora. I asked Hercules to take Mia upstairs while I had a short meeting with the guards.

They had not said a word to me. Their heads were bowed. Yes, no werewolf dared look me in the face as I scolded them. I almost killed one when there was an attack on the pack.

“Speak!” I thundered, and I saw some of them shaking like leaves.

"Your highness, it was not our fault. Jake had come into the pack when you were around, and when he came again, he tried to force his way in. He had told us that he knew you were not in the pack, so he could whisper something to another pack, and it would be a full-blown attack. His only condition to not do that was to just see Miss Nora. So we allowed him.”

For a split second, my mind went through all the possibilities of what would happen when there was an attack. Dylan. Nora.
