Thirty - Nine

BECCA:

Two days passed, and we have all been read books. No, I have been reading books cause the guys are just playing chess and cards when they are supposed to be reading with me. Alexander and I have been distant same as Ezra and Vivian.

Vivian and I had gotten closer, she was nice actually and we mostly do the cooking while mom played games with the boys. Vivian and I were in the kitchen about to cook.

“Where is the gas lighter?” Vivian asked while I was washing the chicken. I checked the drawer where we usually keep it but it wasn't there.

“Oh, mom’s room. She used it to light a fancy candle the other day.” I told her and she nodded. I stopped what I was doing and ran to my mom’s room to pick it up. After picking up the lighter, I turned around to walk out only to find the door opening and someone walked in.
