Chapter 47

Arabella's PoV

I fell on my bottom and crawled backwards. My eyes popped open . The man laying lifeless in front of me was Asher. The father of my unborn child. Oh no.

It took about a second for me to catch my breath and recover from the shock before I finally crawled to him.

I shook him.

"Asher! Alpha Asher!! Are you there?"

His body was stiff and cold. I rolled him over completely and placed my hand on his chest. I closed my eyes and then let out an exhale, calming my thoughts, kneeling still beside him. I needed to feel a heartbeat.

"Come on Alpha Asher, you can not give up this soon. Stand up you bastard, don't you dare die yet!!"

I yelled inside but managed to stay composed outside.

It didn't take too long for me to feel a heartbeat. It was weak and took a little while to form but at least, it was there. I pulled my hands away and looked at his face. His eyes were closed and blood dripped from his mouth.
