Arabella's POV:

The moment was so intense that I began to feel sick. Asher had held my wrist, staring into my eyes and asking for answers.

What could I have possibly given to him that would have equated to the explanation of truth?

I couldn't risk letting him know anything so it wouldn't trigger his memory. The witches had been specific about any little triggers.

"Asher, there's is nothing I have to tell you, please, I do not want to talk about it"

I thought he might leave me be but he insisted.

"Arabella, who is the father of your child?" I couldn't answer.

I pulled my wrist from him and gave him a stare. "Don't ask me anything pertaining to this.. I don't want to talk"
