Chapter Twenty Five

I panted heavily as I watched the chaos unfold right before my very eyes. Everything was going according to plan, and as much as it scared me that things could turn upside down in a split second, it still thrilled me to see how things would end eventually.

The plan I had was simple. All I needed to do was provoke the beasts that already had their eyes on me, and then I made sure that I got into a messy fight with them so that I could end up getting injured. The injury isn't going to be serious, and it most probably won't be coming from them, but I intend to make them look like villains and make myself into a victim.

I'm aware that the plan sounds ridiculous, and I'm also aware that if care isn't taken, I could end up getting into serious trouble, getting hurt in ways I didn't want, or even worse, getting killed.

The people I was dealing with were experienced criminals, and I could have ended up making things difficult for myself by provoking them but judging by the scene I was
