chapter 2

“Why?” Tears welled up at the corner of my eyes. “I've waited so long for you.” I sobbed.

The pain from the rejection coursed through me and I felt my head become heavy. I crashed to the floor, “That's the third time you're making me fall. ” I said with tears in my eyes.

It was already a year after I was rejected by my mate. I had moved on after Jace came all long.

I stared at Jace in the middle of a bunch of pack girls. It was another night party again. The third in a row! Each and everyone I had to come here to see if he would pay attention to me.

Although we were dating, Jace never let anyone find out. He was bent on keeping it a secret and recently I couldn't take it anymore.

"Why is he smiling when they touch him that way?" Isabella the younger sister kissed Jace's cheek and the elder one kept her hands on his abs.

He was embarrassed to let anyone find out about us and I don't blame him, I'm just trash as they all say.

"But...."

I suddenly began to follow a scent like I was controlled. It was so familiar, it was the scent that had clouded my mind for so long.

Suddenly someone pushed me into a room, Jace! He quickly removed my tank top, his long fingers moving across my waist while he nudged his head in my cleavage as I felt his groin move below me.

"Jace?" I said softly trying to get him to listen but he was so engrossed in turning me on. His hands fumbled behind my black corset bra and they fell off me exposing myself all to him.

After I had left the orphanage I had managed to take up a job in the beta's house as a maid and that was where I met Jace. He had beaten up a fellow family member and was placed under house confinement for month.

I was the one assigned to take care of his needs and he told me that he was interested in me. It took a while to accept but when he asked me out I felt he was real.

His thumb caressed the back of my hand as he held me close. His fingers traced delicate patterns along my spine. His fingers had a way of sending shivers down them.

He laid back and pulled his shirt exposing his bare chest. His muscles flexed attractively. He placed his firm hands on my hips as he lifted me on top of him then placed light kisses on my breastbone. I shivered responding to his fingers that ran down to the waistband of my pants.

"Emma…." you are so sexy he moaned as I caressed the sides of his ribs.

He kissed me all over, my lips, my cheeks, my nose, my neck while I put my focus on running my hands down his bare chest as I kiss his neck and then nibbled on it.

"Oh god." He moans and rolls his head back.

"I love you so much Emma." He breathes against my cheek as his hips slowly roll against mine. Suddenly I stopped and raised my head.

"I don't think so…"

"Shh…" I plunged my tongue into his mouth. His cherry lips gave way and we rolled our tongues, wanting to consume the other.

"Jace?" I broke the kiss.

"Why?" He brushes my cheekbone with his fingers and kisses me again before burying his head in my cleavages. His breath is staggering, hot and wild against my skin. He brings his face to mine and opens his eyes.

"Do you... do you want me to stop?" He stutters.

"Are you ashamed of me?" I asked looking into his brown eyes.

"Why do you think so?" He said coldly.

"You know…. You never let the public know about us." I bit my lips as I bent my head low.

"You do realize you're an omega and I'm the son of the beta. What will the pack think when they find out about us?" He snapped.

"But you love me right?" I asked with a shaky voice. He appeared annoyed by my questions and pulled my waist closer.

"We don't have to bother about love, you need me." He chuckled with an evil grin.

"No tell me!" I didn't know where I found the courage to yell at him.

"Stop all this!" he howled. "You should know that we're only doing this for fun." He snapped.

"But you said…" Tears welled up my eyes.

"You're good for nothing, you know that!" He pushed her away. "I picked you up and now you think you can have me to yourself?" He let out a laugh like he enjoyed seeing me cry.

"You're a gold digger! You just want to use my status. That's all you're but it's decided to play along for some time." He smirked.

"No…I really love you." I replied, biting my lips. My heart was already broken to pieces.

"Get lost! I'm done with you! I'm out of house confinement so I don't need you anymore," He waved his hands and I ran out with tears in my eyes.

If the only person I had trusted did this to me. I didn't know what to do or where to go? I didn't mean anything to anyone again.

I didn't belong here, I sobbed as his face filtered into my mind, Alpha Neon. I still thought about the way blue eyes pierced through my soul although he had rejected me. I really wanted him and I was going to find him!

Suddenly realization hit me today was Jace's birthday! Maybe I should get him a gift and he would realize that I loved him.
