How come the council knows about the internal matters of the pack? It was not normal for the council to meddle in pack matters except of course it was affecting other packs which was most likely not possible.

Everyone knew that the late Alpha of Silver Moon Pack was dead and it was obvious that rumors had been flying around that there was a new Alpha but this was not enough reason for the council members to check up on us.

After all, to the outside world, it would look like the pack was not in disarray which was why a new Alpha emerged so quickly after the late Alpha passed. It was only natural for other packs to see it as the silver moon pack trying to protect their pack and keeping it united so that it wouldn’t fall prey to more rogue attacks in the future.
