CHAPTER FOURTEEN

Worry!

That’s what I’ve been feeling for the past 48 hours as I watched my mate’s unconscious form lying on the bed.

She looked pale, whiter than snow or even paper, all the color drained off her beautiful face.

She was not moving, her eyes closed and her body rigid. She looked almost lifeless, the only thing convincing me that she was still alive was the constant thumping of her heartbeat, even that was faint.

I shivered at how peaceful she looked.

It made me want to snap.

It made my wolf want to snap.

She needs a doctor, I need to bring her to a doctor.

I can’t lose my mate. Not when I finally found her after so many years.

I’m sure my thoughts were going to kill me.

Liam was already on the verge of losing control. All he wanted was for us to just take our mate out of this place by all means.
