ASHER'S POV

My mate is somewhere around here. I could perceive the fresh scent of vanilla and roses mixed with the refreshing and pure smell of the forest.

I had to finish the rogues off so that I could go look for her. I’m very sure that she must be looking for me too for her scent was getting stronger by the minute, she's heading my way and I don't want her to see the mess I created.

I have always wondered what my mate would look like and now that I finally found her I couldn’t wait to see her, to finally feel her, to treasure her, to protect her, for she was the most important person to me in the world.

I had no family and my mate suddenly appearing meant I finally had someone that I could call family. Just thinking about it made excitement bobble in my stomach.
