Chapter 101: Aria's Betrayal
Greg isn’t in the cottage when I get there and start packing my things. I breathe a sigh of relief when I am done, and he still hasn’t shown up. At least now he can’t try to stop me when I leave. I make my way to the Orphanage and stop by Melissa’s room. “Do we have any more empty rooms that I can stay in?” I ask. She looks up from the book she is reading and sets it beside her after dog earing the page she was on and scooting to the edge of her bed to stand up. “We do, but why are you asking?”
“I’m moving in.” I say and don’t offer anything more. “Ooookay. Sure. Follow me,” she says and raises her eyebrows at me in surprise. “I would have thought you would want to stay in your little cottage with your boy toy.”
