'I'm sure he must be somewhere around here?" I said to myself while gazing around the woods. I glanced at my phone again then lifted my eyes forward to the spot the GPS displayed that Silas was standing.

The woods didn't seem complicated. The grasses were low and there were no bushes. Trees were the only things that seemed much in the area so if he was here then I should have spotted him by now.

Before now I doubted that Silas would set me up but now that I have arrived at the scene I think otherwise. What exactly could he be thinking?

I couldn’t get the scent of a vampire or werewolf. I listened but there was also no suspicious sound. Everything I could hear was nature singing In my ears.

I walked down to the exact spot the GPS signal pointed. I waited but there was still no sign of any living mammal.

I stooped low, gently taking off the grass beneath my feet and there I found a cell phone. At the sight of the phone I knew that I had been tricked.
