The reason Mark called for a police artist was obvious. He needed a sketch of the beast the witness saw. If the witness gives an accurate sketch then that would be another big win for the cops, however it's unfortunate that the witness has no idea how much trouble he was getting himself into.

Werewolves are eager to execute anyone who they consider a threat and it didn’t matter whether their victim was still a threat or not.

"Oh, and look who we have here…. Marcus Dominick,"

I turned to see who raised the alarm and unfortunately it was Sharma Atluri, the Detective from India. His cheerful smile creeped me out.

I didn’t know if his greeting was a sign of peace or if he was only another opportunity for new discovery. The last time we had a conversation, it didn't end well.

I still recall the words and his suspicions that the culprit of these crimes could also be part of the investigation. That was a clear message to me and I wonder if he had found anything yet.
