Booke left school early. It was her last day of school and she was happy about it. Being a straight-A student helped her to be in advanced classes and finish her courses early. When she left, she took the opportunity to walk around, but she felt uncomfortable seeing how men were looking at her without any disguise.

Her sisters were at home with her father and that made her feel a little better, although not that much better, her father was not to be trusted.

She reached the forest and went deep into it without looking back. She kept walking alone with a fixed course in her head until she saw, at the end of the path, a large and beautiful lake. She dropped her backpack on the ground, lay down on the green fluffy grass, then looked up at the treetops.

Booke was a very perky omega, with a rather curvy body and a prominent butt, capable of provoking envy in any woman no matter if she was beta, alpha, or an omega of her own status. Her eyes were blue, but with the ability to change color according to her clothing.

She closed her eyes, letting herself be carried away by the sounds of the birds and the leaves moving as they were brushed by the wind. She smiled unconsciously like a little girl, bit her lip, and sighed opening her eyes, seeing that the sky was turning orange.

She sighed getting up from there and grabbed her backpack. she started walking through the forest and touched the trees with great innocence in the act. That was one of Booke's qualities: to be very innocent, however, that innocence did not overshadow his intelligence. He picked up an apple and popped it into his mouth, enjoying the texture and burst of the ripe fruit.

She heard a branch snap, so his she-wolf became fully alert in anticipation of any movement.  She watched as a wolf emerged from the trees. An Alpha was looking at her hungrily and that scared her to death, so she adjusted her pack on her shoulder and started walking fast without looking back; she heard hurried footsteps behind her. She looked back and saw the same man behind her.

She quickened her pace until she felt her arm being grabbed pinning her down in her hurried walk. The alpha pushed her against the tree trunk, then hid his face in Booke's neck sniffing and licking; he smiled lewdly.

“You're not marked yet. It's a great pity for the person who will never be able to do it," he said huskily, and Booke shivered.

“Don't d-don't do anything to me," she whispered, trembling as she felt the man's hands run over her body.

“Oh... “He purred, "Your voice is like that of a baby who doesn't know the world yet and that makes me feel excited, but especially because you have such a curvaceous body”. He bit the omega's earlobe, slowly and sensually.

Booke felt terrified. Her wolf was telling her to get out of there as fast as she could, but she simply could not; the man who was cornering her against the tree trunk was quite strong.

Booke's backpack fell to the ground the moment she felt that man start to touch her butt above her pants.

The man in front of him was quite strong, to tell the truth, his body was that of a Greek God. Booke wanted nothing to do with him. So, he took courage and hit him in the crotch, taking that opportunity to run away, like the Devil takes the Devil, towards one of the exits of the forest, opposite to the way he had come.

“Stop at this very moment!” shouted the man behind her, but she ignored his shouts.

She continued running, until at the end of the road she caught a glimpse of a car's headlights, which meant that she was very close to the road. However, that would do her no good, as the place was lonely and very few cars passed by, but she did not give up hope of finding help. She felt that she was grabbed by her shirt and was thrown to the ground abruptly, lacerating her lip and forehead in the fall. The shock and the darkness around her increased her terror and she began to cry.

“I told you to stop, but you didn't listen to me, now you will have to pay for your disobedience," he murmured, kissing her neck”. He murmured, kissing her neck quite lustfully. Booke felt disgust at that moment. Just by perceiving that man's tongue on her neck, she wanted to die.

She turned her face to the left side, saw a stone near her and took it in her hands, hit him on the head with all her strength and pushed him away from her, got up as best she could and ran out to the road. This time with terror driving her legs.

The unknown man writhed on the ground, and when he saw his prey run away, he went after her with a hand on her head. The omega kept running until she reached the road but fell to the ground when she felt a car slam on the brakes in front of her, causing her hands to scrape.

She let out a cry of pain when she saw her hands in that state and her eyes filled with tears that mixed with a little blood coming from her forehead. Out of the luxury car that almost hit her came what appeared to be the driver.

“Are you okay?” asked a soft voice. She looked up and met honey-colored eyes, which looked at her with concern. She shook her head.

The man watched her curiously. He saw that blood was coming from her forehead and that her lips were split, which frightened him. But then he realized that she did not do any of that because the car did not hit her that hard.

“Liam, what is wrong?” asked a hoarse voice coming out of the car and looking over to where Liam was standing next to someone.

“It looks like he fell down earlier, his forehead has a gash on it as well as his lip," he explained, turning to his boss.

Booke saw where Liam was looking and looked at the man, he thought he would never see again for a long time.

“What's your name?” Liam asked.

“Booke," she whispered, shyly.

The gentleman approached Booke, looked at her curiously and smiled inwardly when he saw who it was; he had not changed much, even if his face was with that wound. Booke turned towards the forest when he heard a branch snap and saw his worst nightmare. She stood behind Liam, who looked at her quizzically at her attitude.

“Don't let him do anything to me, I beg you, please," she pleaded trembling to Liam.

“Was it him who did that to you?’’ Nathan asked, and she nodded. Get in the car now," he ordered seriously.

Liam helped her off the ground and into the luxurious car, while Nathan stayed outside.

“You come with me," she ordered, walking towards the man who was holding her head with both hands.

The omega entered the car with the help of Liam, who passed her a wet cloth to clean her wounds.

They heard a scream from deep in the forest and that made Booke turn his head that way. She saw how Nathan came out without the coat he was wearing, angry and wondered if he was going to kill her or something, although she also wondered what happened to the man in the forest.

Nathan got into the car with a serious look on his face and Booke shrank in his place.

When his boss arrived, Liam entered the luxurious carriage.

“Where do you live, child?” He asked, staring at her, and she bit her lip.

“At the end of the street... Turn left, the last house on that street is where I live," she murmured, lowering her eyes.

Nathan knew exactly where she lived, he just wanted to check if she was the girl, he had met more than two years ago. He gave the address to Liam, who immediately started to drive to where he had been told.

“What's your name?” he asked in a commanding voice.

“Booke Taylor, sir," she replied, looking up to meet his gaze.

“And your father's name?” he asked again, again bluntly.

“Mark Taylor," she answered nervously again. She did not like that kind of question anymore.

Nathan could smell that the girl was nervous.

“Don't be nervous, I am not going to do anything to you.... "For now," he said to himself, but Booke heard him perfectly.

“What happened with the man in the forest?” Nathan looked at her with a raised eyebrow.

“He will not be back in this life, do not worry.” She shrugged indifferently.

“You killed him," it sounded more like a statement than a question.

“Yes, I did, if that makes you feel better. I don't like them messing with what's mine," he commented seriously and Booke felt like dying at that moment.

“We are here," Liam said when they parked in front of a very old house.

Nathan wondered if it was true that she lived there.

“Thank you very much, sir," he answered, opening the car door, and closing it after he got out.

Nathan saw that the man who had given birth to her came out of the house, looking drunk and noticeably angry. He looked to see if it was the man who had swindled him years ago, and it was indeed him. Years ago, that man had disappeared from the planet as if by magic and now he was standing in front of him. Nathan had never imagined that he would meet him again, especially not in the same house. He got out of the car when he saw how the man grabbed Booke's arm and that made him very angry, so he approached them and touched the alpha's arm, who looked at him in surprise.

“Go into the house, Booke, and wait for me in your room, you know how," he ordered her, releasing her in an aggressive way, making her fall to the floor, but she got up and ran to her room.

She turned her face to face the man she thought she would never see again.

“What do you want? -Booke's father asked sharply.

“Is this how you greet me after you ripped me off, you son of a bitch?” he snapped rudely as he advanced towards him.

“I do not have your money, if that is what you want; I spent it years ago. -He stepped back, and Nathan laughed sarcastically. -I want something better," he smiled wickedly.

-I do not understand. -He frowned.

-We'd better talk inside because you're going to love what I'm going to propose," he explained, entering like a dog in his house and Booke's father looked at him strangely.

Booke was biting his fingernails because of the nervousness he was feeling at that moment. His mother had left for work, but it would be a long time before she arrived.

Her father was the worst kind of slob, Booke always wondered why her mother married such a person, if that man was so disgusting to even look at. Her sisters were asleep when she went to see them, it was better that way so none of them would hear how her father punished her for being late. She still remembered the day he first mistreated her.

The door opened revealing her father with a scary smile.

-You're leaving here today, you're no longer my daughter," he spat with a malicious grin.

-What are you saying? -she asked curiously.

-What you heard; I just sold you to the alpha of alphas," he said bluntly and Booke's world came crashing down in a matter of seconds.

Her father sold her to the man who years ago wanted her all to himself.
