Chapter 14

Alexa's POV...

My eyes immediately flew open the moment I felt a cold liquid splash against my face.

What the hell was that?

I then came face to face with three bigger ladies glaring at me angrily.

"What is this daughter of a murderer doing in our room? On our bed?" I heard one of them yell loudly, and I slowly stood up.

The realisation of what was happening hit me; I remembered entering the slaves' room and falling asleep on the bed. I must have fallen asleep on the trio's bed.

"Can't you talk, or have you gone dumb?" The second lady growled. I had no words to say, so I kept staring at them.

"Please let her be. She must be new here." I heard a voice say from the farther end of the room. That voice sounded so familiar! And I was right; it turned out to be Selina.

I was so glad to so her. I wondered if she was one of the slaves occupying this same room I was in.

The answer to that question would be positive, I finally saw her again, and she also happened to be my roommate.
