Logan's POV...
The room was filled with many faces, some I could remember from the morning training when I beat three out of the four men I trained with. The fourth was Simon, and he threatened to make my life miserable if I gave him as much as a bruise. Well, it was not the threat itself that I was scared of; it was the implication of that threat. It meant he knew I was a little out of my element and would likely hurt him in that rage.Simon was a very strong warrior, as a matter of fact, one of the strongest in all of Red Lotus. He was one of the few men who could withstand me in a fight, training or real life.
Before I picked him as my beta, he and I had not always been on the best terms. Even as friends, we disagreed a lot, and that disagreement often ended in a physical fight. It was how we were being raised, to be men and animals, to fight with our fists and then think with our heads.
