Alexa's POV...
I woke up next to Logan, his hands around my waist, his soft breath on my face. I knew that it was his calming presence that nudged me to sleep despite how turbulent my mind was the previous day.I knew Logan was trying everything within his power to protect me from the truth. What he did not know was that I knew all that had happened in the pack and the outcome of the battle.
Selena called me that night to check up on me. Although she refused to give me any valuable information concerning the attack, she did, however, promise to provide me with any updates she knew so long as I, too, promised to have a good night's rest and not worry about it.
It was hard to keep to my side of the promise, but in my defence, I managed to get two hours of sleep next to Logan.
