"Don't believe him. He is lying against me." A feminine voice protested, and I looked back immediately. I was surprised to see Kara standing a few meters away from where Beta Simon and I stood. Has she been eavesdropping on our conversation? "Kara, how long have you been standing there?" I asked, but she glared hatefully at Simon, who also returned the glares. I guess these two can never be at peace with each other. They are always quarrelling or fighting. "Why did you hate me so much that you keep lying against me? What did I ever do to you?" Kara yelled, advancing towards Simon. "Stop it, Kara, and answer me," I ordered, and she eyed me angrily. "Stop telling me to stop! I can't stand it when I am accused. What did I ever do to him that he keeps lying against me? He keeps accusing me for no reason; he should just let me know why!"
