It sent shivers down my spine. The voice sounds like a melody singing to my soul. Cerberus isn’t reacting to it, but I need to go to him. I go to take a step forward, and immediately Kendrick's grip on me tightens, and he growls low. I freeze and look up at Kendrick; he kisses my forehead, and I look back forward. He lowers his face to my ear, and his breath tickles my neck.
"No angel." He growls into my ear, and instantly I feel the desire build in my stomach. I’m a panting mess once more, and my mind is clouded, but for some reason, I still need to go to this stranger.
