Kairo frowned and took a sip from his water. “How do we know that you’re telling the truth? This is the first time that I’ve ever seen you in my life. I’m not going to give up Devyn that easily just because you claimed to be his father.”
Noah looked down and nodded. “I know that it’ll be hard to believe. If I was in your shoes, I would most definitely be suspicious of myself too. However, I’m telling you this from one father to another. He is my son. I don’t know how I can prove it to you right now, but I wish that you could feel my sincerity.”
