Chapter 10
(Theia’s POV)
Dominic kicked the door to his apartment shut and pushed me against the wall next to it. The lights were still off and the feel of his hands on my body felt so much more heightened when I couldn’t see where they were going. His hands skimmed down my sides and onto my hips. His mouth smashed into mine as he pulled me closer to him, letting me feel just how excited he was. My stomach flipped, and I faltered slightly.
This would be the first time I slept with someone since Mark, which was almost a year ago. He had made it clear that my abilities were not up to anything and certainly not worth the baggage that came with me. And Dominic was amazing. He was wealthy and intelligent and had a body built like a Greek god. There was no way that I was even remotely going to satisfy him. Oh god, I was going to make a complete fool of myself.

(Theia’s POV) I woke up all snuggled in thick white bedding. I reached out across the bed and it was warm but empty. I opened my eyes to confirm that I was indeed alone.
