Alexander’s POV

We were all gathered together, sharing a meal that felt like a moment of perfect unity.

As we exchanged stories and laughter, the atmosphere was light and joyful. Our children's giggles were like music to my ears, and Sophia's smile was a beacon of happiness that illuminated the room. Yet amidst the lightheartedness, a sense of anticipation lingered in the air.

I cleared my throat, drawing their attention to me. "There's something I'd like to talk to you about," I began, my gaze resting on Sophia beside me.

She looked at me with a mixture of curiosity and slight nervousness. "What is it?" she asked, her voice gentle.

I reached for her hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze. "In three days, I'd like to take you to meet my family," I said, my words carrying a mixture of excitement and seriousness.

Her eyes widened a bit, a flicker of nervousness crossing her features. "Your family?" she repeated, her voice a bit uncertain.
