Sophia’s POV

As the night wore on, I couldn't shake the nagging worry that gnawed at me. I reached for my phone and dialed Tyler's number, my heart pounding with anticipation. The phone rang and rang, but there was no answer. Anxiety crept in, and I redialed the number, hoping for a different outcome. Again, it went unanswered.

I tried calling Jake next, praying that at least one of them would pick up and ease my growing apprehension. But the result was the same—no answer, just the cold, unfeeling silence of voicemail.

With a heavy heart, I hung up and stared at my phone screen. The minutes ticked by like hours, and it seemed like time had come to a standstill. I couldn't help but worry about Tyler and Jake. They had been through so much, and now, with the Wolf Hunter Organization under attack, their lives hung in the balance.
