Standing in front of the rogue, I couldn't help but notice the burnt mark on him. I looked into his eyes, this way, whatever question I asked, I would be able to tell whether he was lying or not. If possible, I would have to contact him.

“Tell me, I'm not going to hurt you, and neither will they. I just want to know the truth. Who sent you here and what is your mission?”

The rogue stared at me for a While. I could tell that he was contemplating whether to believe me or not.

“Rest assured, I always keep my promise. But you should never lie to me, I said and instantly, my eyes turned into the color of a scarlet. He jolted in fright and quickly moved away from me.

I turned my eyes back to their original brown color.

“Now are you willing to tell me what I want to know?”

“While I and the others were in the woods, some strange man approached us. From the way he smelled, we could tell that he was a pack wolf. But then something was weird about him, and that was the fa
