They had gone to the seer, I needed to hurry up before they found out what I was up to.

It was a secret but I needed them to think it had been for good, I couldn’t let them know about what I wanted them to do. They didn't understand magic.

“How long is it going to take?” I tried not to snap at my daughter, she was the only reason I was even trying to make this happen. “You have to do something soon,” she was being so quiet and I was almost worried she wasn't breathing anymore.
