Aurora’s POV

I wouldn't say I was exactly comfortable when I moved into Alexis' room but on some days, it was better.

I tried to stay out of his way to avoid invading his personal space. There were times where he wasn’t a talker and he didn’t need company at all hours and I didn’t need much time to myself either so I usually managed to get out the door before anyone else had even started waking up. He would usually just stare at me from across the breakfast table as if he could see right through me like an empty screen. I didn’t like that very much and I didn’t trust him enough to ask about the things he saw inside my head or where they lead.

I am still had nightmares most nights. My dreams were always terrifying but there was something different about these dreams which made them worse than usual. Something about the darkness was creeping its way in with every new dream until it consumed everything. It took over my thoughts leaving nothing but static. When this happened I was unable
