Chapter 77

Aurora's POV

I pushed my chair backward, ignoring the loud clang it made when it hit the ground, and left, leaving them behind. Sia my wolf was ready to rip off anybody and everybody’s hair, all of their heads, she growled viciously.

I was going to leave. To run away and never return. That was the plan. But I couldn't bring myself to move my feet forward from my room, they stayed rooted to the spot, refusing to budge even when the urge to flee overwhelmed me.

Every part of my body was yelling at me to escape, to run away from this place but I had seen worse with Alexis and I never thought of running away. But that was the past when I was ready to settle for less when I was drunk In love when I believed in loving him…

I didn't want to remember that time, that stupid time that almost ruined everything, not almost, it ruined everything- it ruined me.

Now, all I had to do is push it aside and pretend it never happened- I never cared.

I wouldn't pretend like I wasn't bothered - a bit both
