I was changing and there was no stopping it. I screamed as my bones broke, only to realign again. Brown fur spread on my hands, covering every part of my body. I was panting like I'd run a marathon, and sweat was dripping to the ground.

I screamed as I became enveloped in fur, my screams now changing to growls. My paw landed on the soft earth, and I shook myself free as I came. It has been a while since I was in this skin.

I looked up, and Richard was looking at me with pride evident in his eyes. He came closer to me and touched me, scratching my neck. I mewled and leaned into his touch as his soft hands ran over my fur. If it were possible, I would be on my back, with my tongue out in the air. "Welcome back, Kiayra. You did well today. I am proud of you."

I beamed at the compliment, barking to show that it was appreciated. "Good girl." He said, before he moved away, and soon he was shifting. His shifting was as fluid as water, and before the man stood the black-grey beast.
