When Kristof told me that Olivier was still alive, I wanted to know why. Then he told me that Olivier had changed sides. That I wasn't happy about it at all was an understatement.

Knowing that both Viktor and Olivier were alive elicited feelings of anxiety. The fact that Olivier was in our custody and had surrendered didn't help. Staying alive was the obvious motive, and thinking about it, it was definitely an action based on self-preservation. However, what if it were part of another plan to abduct me again?

"What are you going to do with him?" I asked Kristof.

The answer to this question was critical to whether I could feel safe or not in the pack. I wasn't sure what to do if I didn't feel safe.

"I have a few choices," Kristof replied. "Letting him go isn't an option, nor is killing him since he surrendered. I could imprison him, but again, that is a last resort. From what I gather, Viktor is the first pack he has been in, and I would like the chance to rehabi
