I smirked. “I don’t need people who endanger my mission.”
“I knew it.” She grins. The color of her eyes subsides and she finally lost consciousness.“I win.”
As I was about to snap her neck in half, the worst possibility finally happened. My whole body froze as I felt the intense tension in the air- and I knew very well who was it coming from. My grip loosed on her neck and she fell on the ground.
I locked eyes with Derek.
“What did you do?” His chest rising, disbelief engraved in his eyes.
“She tried to kill me first! Look at my-“
When I looked at my wound that was supposed to be at my abdomen, it looked like it was never there in the first place. I gasped, what’s going? Why am I all healed all of a sudden?!
