*DEREK’s POV*
(Present Day)When I opened my eyes, tears started to trickle down my face. My face facing down the ground, I couldn’t believe what I just witnessed. The dream that I just saw was too vivid and familiar that I believed that the witch was somehow telling the truth.
Did I really go back in time?
As I got up to stand. I took a look at the surroundings and saw Cheryl knocked out on the bed. I wanted to ask the witch more about what happened but it looks like it wasn’t possible anymore.
All of a sudden, I felt my chest tighten. I remembered the last moments of the memories that she made me see. The horrifying scene of my mate and I standing in a room filled with fire.
