Chapter 82
Many people observed how Derek, the notorious cold-blooded alpha in the north smiled filled with warmth towards the she-wolf in their eyes. No one ever dared to question where, and who Venus was- everyone seemed more preoccupied with how the alpha gazed so tenderly towards his lover. And so, the ceremony concluded and the whole room cheered for the new couple of the north.
A month has passed by then.
Derek never set his eyes off her, that one day he soon realized that she was a spy sent to monitor him. On the body of a homing pigeon, he read a report with trembling hands of how she had handwritten a letter towards an unknown receiver. The frustration washed over him for days as he tried to decipher the message.
It was a minor report about the current issues of Crescent Moon. It was nothing to be worried about- yet the fact that she was spying on them remained like a scar on his mind. He became paranoid and tried to delve deeper into her secrets.
