Chapter 79

MOLLY'S POV

The next day, Kylian and I sat in his office. He wanted to talk to me about my duties as Luna, now that the pack was in a state of hysteria. He spoke about the things I could do to ease the minds of the pack members.

I struggled to listen and contribute to the things he had to say. I was battling with a sickness inside me. Since last night, I haven't been myself. I started having symptoms of an illness I wasn't sure about. I felt dizzy all through the night. I was unable to sleep. I couldn't think straight. I knew I was infected but I had to act strong.

I couldn't let Kylian see my weakness. If he did, I was sure that he would demand for me to be tested immediately.

Even as he spoke, I could barely focus on what he said. The room around me started to spin. Kylian's form became blurry in my eyes. I did my best to pull myself together but it wasn't easy

I was fighting an internal battle with myself.

"Are you even listening to me?" Kylian asked me, interrupting my though
