“Open your eyes Skittle Bear.”
This time I did open my eyes and once I blinked away the tears I saw Caleb standing there covered in blood. I still wasn’t sure if it was Caleb, but I couldn’t help the way my heart from hoping it was him.
“See, I am right here.” He spoke with such tenderness, fresh tears began to fall, blurring my vision once more.
I hated the witch and George for what they did to me, what they are doing to me. Yet just like with Hunter, I was happy to see Caleb, even if it was a trick. At least I had been given a chance to see their faces before I die. I felt his hands move to brush away my tears.

Hunter-Returning in less than twenty four hours had been difficult, although I managed. I found Caleb was still outside of Kyra’s art studio, I wasn’t even sure if he had moved since I left. Hunter- It was closing in on the sixth-month mark and we were still no closer to finding anything. Zeke had shown up a couple of times a week, but he stayed as far away from me as possible. Everyone’s spirits were down and I was trying to hold it together but it was becoming more and more difficult. I still couldn’t feel the bond, but I know it hasn’t been severed yet. The closer it gets to Kyra being transferred to Purgatory, the crosser I become. I was going out of my mind. I didn’t know what to do and we had gone through every book we had around the pack.
