Chapter Ninety-Three

My mother had not been happy about moving the ceremony up a day, but she did it anyway. It hadn’t been like there was a lot to do. The invitations had already been sent out, but that was a simple fix. All I had to do was send out a pack-wide message to let everyone know the ceremony would be on Thursday.

I think my mother was just looking for something to bicker about. I know she and my dad have been going rounds lately. He wants to still have control over the pack and make decisions, but I guess I can’t really blame him, I imagine I would be the same when I retire. My mother hasn’t been too happy with his attitude though.

Riley had been sent to stay with a friend for a while since they were arguing every night. Riley had asked if she could just come to stay with us, but I didn’t really want her staying in the packhouse. It wasn’t that I didn’t love my sister, but having her around a bunch of men, just didn’t sit
