Chapter Sixty-Nine

“Come on Kyra. Push back.” I said as Kyra slammed against the wall for the twentieth time this morning.

“Do you have to be so hard on her?” Hunter asked, I could hear the frustration in his voice.

I know Kyra insisted on Hunter being her, but he was starting to get on my last nerve. I was trying to teach Kyra how to control her energy, but Hunter kept distracting her and babying her. There wasn’t enough time to teach Kyra all that I could in the time I was able to stay, so I had to push her past her limits. She was of my blood, so I knew she could handle it if only Hunter would back off.

“If you don’t like the way I train her, you can leave.” I said, keeping my voice as cold as I could, wanting to make it obvious of my disdain of him.

“If you keep going as you are, you are going to kill her.” Hunter complained.
