In the dining room, everyone was there already. As always, Atlas's parents smiled at me and made a happy face. There was something wrong I didn't know about. I really should talk to Ryder today.

"I didn't expect something like this." The woman, Kate kept mumbling as she grabbed her fork and started stabbing it on the meat of her plate. I could understand that the meat was me for her right now.

Letting out a soft sigh, I followed Atlas to his chair and sat beside him, regarding the rule he created. It wasn't what I asked for. It was tiresome and I merely felt good. Everything was so mysterious and dubious. Sometimes, I wondered if Atlas being sweet to me had something to do with anything fishy I didn't know about.

"His standard is getting lower and lower day by day. It's unbelievable." His fiancee continued. Her words were clearly pointed at me, striving to infuriate my calmest mind.
