Bonus Story: Elara pt. 2

"What the hell, Elara! Why did you let him go?" my brother Adrian exclaims when he learns about the incident last night.

"Why not? That moron human can't hurt me," I say dismissively.

"You don't know that. Werewolf hunters are a real group, and from what I heard, they are very cunning and dangerous," Adrian says.

"Yes, but that guy seemed new. And I think he is more funny than dangerous," I say dismissively.

"How is he funny? He tried to kill you." Adrian frowns. "I swear sis, sometimes you can be so reckless!"

I shrug nonchalantly. "Come on, Adrian, you worry too much. I had the situation under control."

Adrian runs his fingers through his dark hair, frustration evident in his expression. "Elara, you can't always rely on your powers and instincts. One day, they might fail you, and you could end up seriously hurt or worse."

I roll my eyes, feeling annoyed. "You sound like a broken record, always lecturing me about caution and responsibility. Sometimes, you just have to let loose
