Chapter 80

"Let's go?" Lee called me and I prepared my stuff so we could have our lunch, but before we could even leave, Alec called me.

"Excuse me Miss Ella, can I have a word with you." He said, and I looked at Lee telling her that she can go first.

"What do you think he wants to talk to you about?" She asked.

"Problem my tardiness earlier, you can go first, I'll follow shortly after I promise," I told her and she nodded her head, glancing at Alec before taking her leave.

I sensed that he was already staring at me, so I spun my heels around, and now...there was just the two of us.

None of us were talking, so it was pretty quiet, aside from the bustling noise from outside.

"Sir, do you need anything?"

"Oh...right," he stuttered, coughing as he composed himself, seemingly lost in his own thoughts.

"Thank you by the way for helping me last night,"

"Oh that, you don't have to thank me," I said.

"No-no, I think I do. And since you helped me, why don't I treat you for lunch today, what do you say?
