Chapter Two

***Selene***

I woke up and I was in some other place. It was so different from where I was. 

"How am I alive? Alpha Jareth died. I'm supposed to die." I asked myself as I looked around. It was like I was in another world.

"Kali! Thank God you're alive. Thank God. I'm so happy." A strange woman hugged me tightly and kissed me. She looked so beautiful. Her eyes were like mine,hazel and small. Her eyes were already red and swollen,obvious she had cried her eyes out. Her hair was brown,silky and long. Everyone was shocked I was alive. So many people were there staring at me with disbelief.

The people wearing white clothes walked up to me. They held my hand and placed a strange equipment on my chest.

"What's going on?" I spoke finally. I was trying my best not to freak out. I was scared and confused. 

"You died baby. They've announced your death." She said as some tears dropped from her face. 

"Me? Who are you?" I asked and she looked at a young man standing beside her. I just noticed him. He was staring at me with disgust. He was at least 5ft tall,nice jet black hair. Well chiseled chin,with blue eyes that makes him look more attractive. He was wearing a sky blue shirt which was tight and a black trouser. It's exposed his biceps and his broad chest.

"What? It's me,your mother. Please check her? What's wrong with her?" The woman said,turning me to look at her. She looked like she was about to cry.

"My mother? My mother died a long time ago." I announced.

"Come check her please. Something's wrong." The strange woman said and the people wearing white came to me.

"We need to take her to the hospital." They said and placed me on some kind of bed and rolled me away in a carriage that looks different. My acclaimed mother got into the carriage with me.

I was still confused and scared as to why I was in a strange place and straight world. The carriage stopped and I was rolled out again. The gigantic building scared me.

"Where am I? Where is this?" I asked as I was being strolled in.

"We are at the hospital dear. You'll be fine my love." The strange woman said as she kissed my forehead.

I was taken into a room where they did a lots of things with me. Touching me,placing my arms in some weird instruments and so on. 

The strange woman walked in again and a man cladded in a white jacket addressed her.

"There's nothing wrong with her. She's just suffering from temporary amnesia due to excessive stimulation." The man said.

"Will she be okay?" She asked.

"Definitely. We just need her to stay for some time while we run some tests just to be sure." He said and walked away.

I didn't understand anything they just said,all I know is I was with Alpha Jareth when his core exploded and i died along side with him. "How did I wake up here? Or is this the afterlife? Why am I here in another person's body?" I asked myself as I looked around.

"I'm coming my love. Let me get you something to eat. I'm sure you must be hungry." She kissed my lips and rushed outside.

I stood up to take a look at the room. It's something I've never seen before. The walls were white and the bed was different from the kind of ones I was accustomed to.

I looked out the window and the guy from earlier was standing there staring at me with his arms folded.

"Why was he staring at me like that?" I opened the door and he had nothing but hatred and disgust for me in his eyes.

I wanted go keep kira's mother from going back to her lifeless body when Kira opened her eyes. It was a miracle but it was none of my business. I've achieved all I wanted. I've acquired her late's father assets and prevented war between the pack. Her father had lots of asset which everyone had eyes on so me buying it was a good thing. The stability and the peace of Blue pack is my priority. All other things are minor. 

She started behaving strange since she came back to life. She couldn't even recognize her mother and I was shocked. 

"Is this another game for her? Who knows if she wants to extort money from her mother again." I shrugged.

"Let's go. I'm here and I've showed my presence." I said but Daniel shock his head.

"We can't go. They are taking her to the hospital. We have to follow." He said.

"Why? She's okay now." I yelled.

"She isn't. She can't even recognize her mother." He said and i shaked my head.

"It's none of my business. Her being alive or dead doesn't matter to me." I eyed him.

"The press and rumors." He scoffed.

"Fine. We'll go to the hospital." I surrended and we did.

I was watching how she was acting in the room through the window. The window was white and  transparent so I could see everything going on inside. She looked so innocent but deep down I know she was evil. She spotted me and opened the door.

"Hey Kira! Are you fine now?" Daniel asked.

"Who are you?" She asked and I scoffed.

"Enough with this stupid game you're playing? What else do you want to do to your poor mother? You've succeeded in selling all of your father's legacy. She was very scared you died. Stop this stupid game and leave the Blue pack as soon as possible." I yelled and she did nothing but to stare at me.

"What's he talking about? I sold my father's legacy? My father is dead." I asked.

"Yes we all know your father is dead." He folded his arm.

"Is he okay?" She raised her hand to touch my forehead and i hit her hand aggressively. She winced in pain.

"Don't ever touch me in your life." I said and walked away.

I was so mad at myself for touching her filthy hand.

"Eww." I said as I watched my hand at the sink and used a sanitizer after.
