THE CASTLE
Luna and Phillip stood by and watched as Aric fought the beast. They could see the tension on his face, his muscles tensing with every stroke of his sword. But the monster appeared unafraid, its skin impenetrable.
Aric fought the big beast at the castle entrance, perspiration streaming down his face. With bated breath, Luna and Phillip watched as Aric's sword collided with the creature's thick, impenetrable skin.
Aric appeared to be making little progress despite his efforts, and Luna could feel her worry building with each passing instant. She looked across to Phillip, who appeared to be as concerned.
A bright flare of light filled the clearing just as it appeared all hope was gone. Luna and Phillip shaded their eyes, attempting to figure out what was going on. When the light faded, they saw that the beast had been defeated, and Aric stood triumphantly holding his sword high.

As the group of shadowy figures emerged from the forest, Luna's heart raced. She grasped her weapon hard, bracing herself for the worst. She could tell that they were humanoid in shape as they got closer, but their features were obscured by the darkness that enveloped them. Luna could tell they weren't human since their eyes blazed with an unearthly light."Stay close to me," Phillip murmured. "We'll have to fight our way through."Luna nodded; her gaze fixed on the approaching people. A weird scene greeted Luna and Phillip as they exited the room. The environment they were in was different. They were no longer in the gloomy, dark dungeon, but in a brilliant, bright field. Deep blue skies with wispy clouds floating lazily overhead characterized the scene. In the distance, they could hear birds chirping."What is happening?" With uncertainty on her face, Luna inquired.Phillip shook his head, I'm not sure, but I feel like this is only the beginning.They noticed a person in the distance as they moved across the field. It was a woman with piercing emerald eyes and long, black hair.
