BAELAI laid asleep on the mat as I managed to get a few hours of sleep before the sun rise. I woke up early, just in time to hear a footstep approaching the tent. I knew no other werewolf could approach the tent, Alpha Abbadon and I shared when he was not around except for him. I knew he was the one coming and he was coming to seek for the answer to the puzzle of the two meaningful gifts. I laid there pretending to sleep as I tried not to look worried but I was inside of me. My only reassurance of Aria's words that she was going to help me convince Alpha Abbadon on what I was going to reveal to him about the gifts. I heard Alpha Abbadon open the cover of the tent blocking the entrance into his tent and light from the outside shined in. I could feel the morning rays of sun on my skin with my eyelid shut. I waited until Alpha Abbadon closed it behind him as he walked towards were I was lying down and stopped."Beta Baela". I heard him call out softly to me, probably seeing I was stil
BAELA"Get ready Beta Baela, we leave this morning to the ends of the world". I heard Alpha Abbadon say, as he turned and walked out of the tent, we both were in. I was glad that was over. The hard part for Alpha Abbadon was likely just started. He had to decide whether to tell his Beta's what he knew about our journey to the ends of the world, that there were no gifts or to keep it a secret from them. It was a tough call to make and I didn't know which path he was going to take. I walked slowly to the curtain covering the entrance of the tent as I peeped outside at what he was about to do. He didn't seem to be gathering the Beta's for a briefing rather he just let everyone do what they had to do to get ready. Last night had been a celebration, I guess it would be bad to dampen the morale of the camp after the happy celebration of last night.I finally made my way out of the tent, tired of peeping out of the curtain wondering what was to happen. I needed to have my bath and wash up,
BAELA"Would I get married to another?" I repeated Aloha Abbadon's question in my head. I couldn't believe what he was asking me. Was he truly considering marrying someone else and did he imagine I would ever do the same?"I do not know yet Alpha Abbadon and I cannot say. I'll leave that until the future to give you an answer". I revealed to him slightly upset as I moved backwards a little, widening the gap between us in the water."I see. I imagined you would have it already figured out. You seemed to know it all these days". Alpha Abbadon said taunting me. He moved closer to me, closing the gap between us in the water and I felt slightly threatened. What did he want me to say to him? What did he want from me? I pondered within myself."Alpha Abbadon, I do not know what you mean?" I asked puzzled. As I stood still avoiding his eye contact. Maybe he would know what I am thinking by peering into my eyes."Okay, if you insist but can you tell me this, I would like to know". He said."Wh
BAELAI was off to the ends of the world but if course I wasn't going alone. Alpha Abbadon was leading the pack with him and we were moving at lighting speed. Today unlike yesterday he had me alongside him as we ran to the ends of the world. Aria was visible ahead of me as she led the way and all I had to do was follow her direction as I ran to keep up the pace.I was the on leading us to the ends of the world. I had assured Alpha Abbadon I would lead us safely there and hopefully bring us back out if there safely. He trusted my judgement one more time as he agreed to go along with me.At the pace we were running, with our limbs pouncing on the ground violently with every move, we would arrive at the outskirt of the ends of the world before sun down. That was what I hoped, as it would give us a slight advantage about where we were and what we possibly could be up against. We kept up the pace for hours until Alpha Abbadon decided it was time we took a break. We were literally about 3 h
BAELAI watched in hiding as the male Beta's took over. "Thank you Beta Baela, you have done enough. We will take it up from here". Beta Red said, as he and the others moved to attack positions.I was happy to watch. Hunting for animals wasn't really my thing, neither was fishing but Aria had helped me come a long way. I watched as they carefully started to encircle two deers that had strayed away from the rest of the herd. They were busy foraging away at the grasses and leaves in the field. I knew the Beta's could just charge at them without having to be careful and but I guess they enjoyed the skill and art this form of hunting took. They had the speed and endurance to catch up to it even if it should try to get away from them. I enjoyed watching them though hunt in this way but I hope they didn't take too much time to do so.We were still on a tight schedule, having to still travel to the ends of the world which was just 3 hours or so away from our current location. I watched o
BAELA I listened attentively, waiting for Alpha Abbadon to finally speak and he did. I could hear that his sweet baritone voice so close to me and it was pleasant to hear. "Have you changed your mind about going to the end of the world? I can still turn back this camp". Alpha abandon said to my surprise. I could hear the concern in his voice. I couldn't turn back now even though I wanted to do it for him. Only one word can make me turn back from reaching out destination at the ends of the world and that is - I love you. That was the magical word Alpha Abbadon just had to say from the bottom of his heart and mean it and I would end our journey to the ends of the world right away. So far though, he hadn't said anything of such and remembering Aria's words - if he doesn't, he must go to the end of the world to prove his love for you."We will all be fine Alpha Abbadon, please do not worry". I said in reply to him, as I acted compose."Okay Beta Baela. Then I have no other option befor
BAELAI have never known silence like this, like never before. I was quiet and so was everyone in our camp. The forest we were walking in was also quiet, making me very anxious inside, as I walked behind Alpha Abbadon for cover. I know the others probably felt the same way except maybe for Alpha Abbadon that continued to led us deeper and deeper into the Alpha King's territory. I wished I could say we should turn back now but it was already a little to late for that now and Alpha Abbadon was already so invested in this to go back home after coming this close.I could see Aria suddenly appear overhead as Alpha Abbadon continued to walk, making me to stop abruptly. I hadn't summoned her, although I had wanted to too but seeing how quiet everywhere was I knew I would be heard if I ever did.Why did she suddenly appear? What did she want to say? Was there danger ahead of us? Was Alpha Abbadon leading us to our doom? These were all the questions that ran through mymind but I had no way o
BAELAI chuckled in anxiety, trying to make the question he asked sound ridiculous but he was still sternly looking at me. Not that he was angry at me but that was to show that he was being serious and so was the question he asked me."What do you mean Alpha Abbadon, I don't quite get you?" I asked him, wanting him to explain more. Maybe then I could quickly figure out a way to come up with a suitable excuse for him."I thought you heard my questions perfectly the first time. You even laughed a little at it". Alpha Abbadon pointed out, refusing to repeat his questions a second time.Arggghhhh! He had got me but I couldn't expose Aria's identity. No one believed me when I told them about her in the past and I doubt Alpha Abbadon would believe me now if I told him about her - my invisible fairy. I wonder what he would think if I told him our coming to the ends of the world was all her idea?"Alpha Abbadon, I don't think I can see anything you or the others cannot see. We are all werewol
