"Alpha Abbadon, you didn't come into the tent tonight to sleep, why is that?" I asked, as politely as I could. I still wanted to keep his peace as much as possible.

I was standing besides him and my question seemed not to disturb him. His gaze was still fixed on the fire.

"How could I possibly go to sleep in a tent?" He asked. It was a rhetorical question but it didn't make any sense to me because aside from when he was scouting during the night, he usually slept in his tent.

"We have had a celebration about getting to the ends of the world. And tomorrow by sunset we should have arrived there but what is there to truly celebrate when we could be walking into our doom?" He asked, as he kept on staring into the flames.

"Tonight is my last night of reflection while tomorrow night will be that of a revelation. I am the Alpha and I must decide for one last time to go ahead or turn back by dawn. So why should I go to sleep in my tent?" He asked again, still avoiding eye contact wit
